Hello all members of UnlimitedPhotography and greater DeviantArt. This is Georgie, I’ve been founder for a few months now and today I would like make an important PSA and community check. We had a sudden change of admin and founder this year. It may not seem like a big issue, groups on here change management a lot. However ours came with a bitter twist. Without elaborating on too much detail, we had members in this community face bad and possibly abusive situations with previous admin running this group. To be honest I do not understand why the fact that an image is B+W (or HDR for that matter) is more important than subject matter. A picture of a bird in B+W is still a picture of a bird. Why it has to be lumped in with hundreds of other totally unrelated images of cars, trains, boats etc. I do not know. Every time I make a decision to use a technique other than "point and shoot in colour", I am condemning the results to oblivion in a B+W or HDR ghetto.
